Breda and I have returned to Cocoa Beach!
We drove down again, this time stopping in Savannah, which is the cutest old town in the world. They have tons of olde timey things to look at on the banks of (i'm guessing) the savannah river. We got some very southern foods: shrimp and grits and crawfish etouffee and both were AMAZING.
Until April I'll be staying in a hotel, which is rough because i won't have a kitchen...but pretty sweet because i get free breakfast every morning and a free happy hour after work. I guess i can give up a kitchen for that...
Now that the weather has cool considerably from last summer, there are tons more animals about in KSC. At the alligator pond next to our building i saw no less than 6 gators sunning themselves on the bank. there are also a jillion armadillos running around. They are similar to bunnies, execpt you can pretty much walk right up to it and it'll just ignore you and continue rooting around in the grass. Here are some pics of a couple i practically stepped on:
